Parent/Guardian On-Site Policy

For Maryland Apex Elite programs requiring adult attendance, a parent, legal guardian, or designated responsible adult must remain at the training location for the entire scheduled session.

These programs are not drop-off childcare programs.

The responsible adult must:

  • Remain at the training location and be reasonably accessible throughout the session.

  • Be available if the child becomes injured, ill, upset, needs personal assistance, or is unable to continue participating.

  • Remain outside the active training area unless assistance is requested by a coach or an emergency occurs.

  • Supervise any siblings or other non-participating children who accompany the family.

  • Follow all academy and facility rules.

Academy coaches are responsible for supervising and conducting scheduled soccer activities. If an injury or emergency occurs, coaches will follow academy safety procedures and may contact 911 or emergency medical services when necessary

If a program requires adult attendance and a responsible adult is not present, the child may not be permitted to participate. Repeated failure to follow this policy may affect continued participation in the program.
