APEX EXPLORERS
Discovering the Joy of Soccer
Ages 5–6
Apex Explorers is a fun, welcoming, and development-focused soccer program designed especially for young children beginning their soccer journey.
At this age, we believe the most important first step isn't winning games or mastering complicated drills—it's helping children fall in love with playing, moving, learning, and having a ball at their feet.
Through age-appropriate games, imaginative activities, and small-sided play, children are introduced to the fundamentals of soccer, including dribbling, ball control, passing, shooting, movement, coordination, and teamwork. Activities are designed to keep children active and engaged while allowing them to learn through play, exploration, and discovery.
Our small-group environment allows us to recognize that every child develops differently. Some children may arrive eager to chase the ball from the very first minute, while others may need a little more time to observe, become comfortable, and build confidence. Both are perfectly welcome.
There are no tryouts and no previous soccer experience is required. Children are encouraged to make mistakes, try new things, express themselves, and progress at their own pace in a positive and supportive environment.
But Apex Explorers is about more than learning soccer skills. Through the game, we also help children develop confidence, independence, teamwork, respect, sportsmanship, and a sense of belonging.
Our goal is simple: when your child leaves the field, we want them to be excited about coming back.
Because at this age, success isn't measured by the scoreboard—it's measured by smiles, confidence, growth, and a growing love for the game.

Ages 10-12
Have you ever wanted to play soccer but weren't sure where to start? This is your chance!
At Apex Take the Field, you don't need to already know how to dribble, pass, shoot, or even know all the rules. You don't have to be the fastest or the best. You just have to be willing to give it a try.
Step onto the field, get a ball at your feet, make new friends, learn new skills, score your first goal, and discover what you can do. It's okay to make mistakes—that's how players learn, grow, and build confidence!
There are no tryouts, no pressure, and no experience required. Just a welcoming place to learn, play, have fun, and be yourself.
Every soccer player had a day when they stepped onto the field for the very first time.

Apex Take the Field is an 8-week introductory soccer development program designed for children who are new to the game, have limited previous experience, or simply need a positive and encouraging environment where they can develop the confidence to play.
APEX KICKOFF DAY [Special Event]
FREE Youth Soccer Experience
Join us for Apex Kickoff Day, a free opportunity for children and families to experience Maryland Apex Elite Soccer Academy. Children will participate in fun, age-appropriate soccer activities, meet Coach Denis, experience the Apex coaching environment, and simply enjoy playing soccer. Parents will also have an opportunity to learn more about Maryland Apex Elite, ask questions, and discover which of our programs may be right for their child.
No soccer experience required. No tryouts. No pressure. Just come play.
