Maryland Apex Elite Soccer Academy wants players to arrive ready to learn, play, and have fun. To help keep training safe and organized, families should follow the equipment guidelines below

What Players Should Bring

​Players should arrive with:

• Shin guards — required for participation.

• Soccer-appropriate footwear — cleats or appropriate athletic shoes based on the training surface and facility requirements.

• Filled water bottle — clearly labeled with the player's name.

• Weather-appropriate clothing — layers, jacket, or other appropriate clothing when needed for outdoor training.

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn!

Soccer Balls & Training Equipment

Players do not need to bring a soccer ball

​Maryland Apex Elite provides soccer balls and the training equipment needed for academy sessions. Providing the equipment allows us to use age appropriate, consistent equipment and lets our players simply come ready to play.

Shin Guards

​Shin guards are required during soccer activities and must be worn properly and covered by socks.

 

A player who arrives without required protective equipment may not be permitted to participate until the appropriate equipment is available.

Jewelry & Personal Items

​For player safety, jewelry and other items that could create an injury risk should not be worn during training. Please leave unnecessary valuables and personal belongings at home whenever possible.

​

Player Uniform/Apparel

​When an academy training jersey or uniform is provided or required for a program, players should wear the designated academy apparel to scheduled sessions unless otherwise communicated by the coach

Please Label Personal Belongings

​Water bottles, jackets, bags, and other personal items should be clearly labeled with the player's name.

 

Maryland Apex Elite is not responsible for personal items that are lost, misplaced, or left at a training location
